Jennifer M. Hess

Jennifer Hess is a native Hoosier and received an International Baccalaureate Diploma from North Central High School in Indianapolis. Thereafter, she graduated from Indiana University in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She continued her time in Bloomington earning her juris doctorate in 2003 from the Indiana University School of Law – Bloomington.


Jennifer has extensive experience in civil litigation and has been very successful in handling Social Security Disability Appeals at the Administrative, Appeals Council, and the Federal levels. In addition to Social Security Disability, Jennifer concentrates much of her practice in the areas of estate planning and administration, guardianships, and personal injury.


Jennifer is a frequent lecturer in the area of Social Security Disability. Her educational background in the sciences have proven extremely helpful to her in understanding the complex medical issues that arise in both Social Security Disability and personal injury matters. She is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (“NOSSCR”), the Indianapolis Bar Association,

and the Indiana State Bar Association. Jennifer was admitted to the Indiana State Bar in 2003. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
